Back to Work.....

So I have went back to work this past week...let me tell you I DO NOT LIKE BEING AWAY FROM MY BABY!  I havn't had like any melt downs or anything at work..but when I get home at night yea that is a different story...The main thing that I hate the most about working is not really being away from him all day is that when I do pick him up thats when his fussiness starts and has always during this time...so in the end me and Wade get to deal with grumpy fussy Chevy instead of sweet happy Chevy.. Also not getting off til 5 then not getting home til 5:30 only leaves like two hours for me and Wade to actually get to spend time together.  He has to go to bed at 7 because he gets up at 3:30 for work....I know that it will eventually get easier as time goes but right now it just pooping sucks...
As for Chevy he is growing like a weed and learning new things everyday.. He really does do good at daycare too.  One thing that he has been during is starting to sleep through the night...most nights.  He also is discovering that yes he can lay on his playmat and play by himself...without fussing and crying till mommy picks him up....Another thing that has happened this month is we went on our first ever roadtrip...We left a Friday afternoon and travel back to our home town to see my parents.

ONE MONTH

Chevy is ONE month this week!!! I can't believe that my LITTLE boy is growing up sooo fast!! It really made me sad the other day though because I have had to start packing away some of his newborn outfits and also we moved up to size one diapers!!

Also him being one month means that this momma has to go back to work soon...total sad face right there...but the nice thing is that I will hopefully only be back at work for a couple months, just till our insurance at my husband's work kicks in...I really do feel bad that I am going to be quitting my job but at the same time I do not want to miss out on anything of Chevy's first couple years.  Another reason that I want to quit my job is DAYCARE...Omg how can anyone ever afford it...really in the end it is pointless for me to go back to work because my whole paycheck would be going to daycare. 

This week Chevy has just been a little crabby baby.....I don't know if he is going through another growth spurt or what....like usually in the afternoons he takes about a three hour nap then wakes eats, looks around then is down again for a least two hours... well not yesterday...oh my goodness.... i was ready to sell him yesterday...okay not really but no matter what I did he was not happy unless there was a bottle in his mouth.....not a fun day!!!!

First Bath

So last night we finally got to give little man a real bath!  His stump finally came off two days ago and I wanted to wait for it to finish drying out.  Let me tell you though Chevy did not i repeat did not like his bath one bit!  I think most of the crying was though that he wanted his bottle, he had just woke up and was hunger.  But being the "mean mom" that I am I wanted to get his bath out of the way first then calm him down with a bottle.

First Post!

Hmm...My very first post!!!! So exciting!! okay not really but oh well.  Well I guess first off why I am just now starting a blog..Well last April my husband and I discovered that I there was going to be a new little bundle joining us in December..So of course as so many other new moms do I found a website that listed all what was going on each week during my pregnancy.  The site I found is called The Bump!  Love this site..I never did post anything on there, ask questions or anything on the forums, but i did read them every day and started to feel like I was really getting to know all of the amazing ladies on there..  well back on to why I am doing the blog is that there is some ladies on there that have blogs and after reading them for the past 9 months I decided that it was time for me to just start my own! The other main reason why I am starting this now is document things of my amazing little boy!
